Grand River Dam Authority Joins The Energy Authority as its Newest Member
Jacksonville, FL – July 1, 2024 — The Energy Authority (TEA) is excited to announce that the Grand River Dam Authority (GRDA) will join TEA as its newest Member, effective July 1, 2024. GRDA joins existing Members, including American Municipal Power, Inc.; City Utilities of Springfield, Missouri; Gainesville Regional Utilities of Gainesville, Florida; JEA of Jacksonville, Florida; Nebraska Public Power District; and the South Carolina Public Service Authority (Santee Cooper).

Energy Symposium
The Energy Authority (TEA) hosts the annual Energy Symposium and Pre-Symposium Sessions in March each year in Atlantic Beach, FL. This event brings together decision makers from public power utilities across the nation for educational seminars and networking. As the strategic partner of choice for public power, we are always looking for ways to help you Navigate Uncertainty and remain competitive in a constantly changing market. To that end, this event is designed to provide you with information that supports you in your role as a decision maker for your utility. You’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with other energy professionals and discuss specific areas where we serve you directly. You’ll also gain insight about topics that affect you and your organization, learn more about the resources and expertise available to you as a client of TEA, and strengthen key relationships with others in the industry.

User Groups
User Groups are hosted by TEA in partnership with different clients each event. User Groups provide a forum for TEA’s clients to discuss current market trends and brainstorm solutions to the industry’s most pressing challenges. Discussion is typically focused on front-office and settlement topics, although anyone is welcome to join. A full agenda with topics is distributed prior to the meetings.

APPA National Conference
A long-time member of the American Public Power Association, TEA is actively involved in this annual gathering of the public power community. TEA leadership attends conference sessions and is often sought out to present on relevant topics.
