Long Island Power Authority and The Energy Authority Launch Parallel Operations to Optimize Power Supply and Fuel Management

[Long Island, NY / Jacksonville, FL – October 24, 2025] – A new partnership is officially underway between the Long Island Power Authority (LIPA) and The Energy Authority (TEA), with parallel operations beginning on October 15, 2025. The full agreement, which names TEA as the new Power Supply and Fuel Management Services provider will go into effect on January 1, 2026.

[Ephrata, WA / Jacksonville, FL – October 16, 2025] – The Energy Authority (TEA) and Grant County Public Utility District (Grant PUD) are proud to announce a strategic partnership that will transform how Grant PUD navigates the rapidly evolving energy markets of the West. This collaboration will enhance Grant PUD’s ability to optimize resources, participate in emerging market opportunities, and ensure reliable, cost-effective service for its customers. Grant PUD joins over 80 existing utilities that partner with TEA for access to portfolio management, energy trading, and advanced analytical services.

Grand River Dam Authority Joins The Energy Authority as its Newest Member

Jacksonville, FL – July 1, 2024 — The Energy Authority (TEA) is excited to announce that the Grand River Dam Authority (GRDA) will join TEA as its newest Member, effective July 1, 2024. GRDA joins existing Members, including American Municipal Power, Inc.; City Utilities of Springfield, Missouri; Gainesville Regional Utilities of Gainesville, Florida; JEA of Jacksonville, Florida; Nebraska Public Power District; and the South Carolina Public Service Authority (Santee Cooper).
