John Lucas
Chief Financial Officer
As The Energy Authority's (TEA) Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer, John Lucas is responsible for the strategic direction of Finance and oversight of all activities in accounting, financial reporting, trade settlements, billing, treasury, and business information reporting.
Before assuming his current role, John served as TEA's controller for over 10 years.
Prior to joining TEA in 1997, John spent seven years with Deloitte & Touche, progressing to the position of Audit Manager.
John holds a Master of Accountancy from the University of North Florida and a bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Florida. He is a Certified Public Accountant in Florida and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Florida Institute of CPAs.
