Laura has fifteen years of experience in the energy industry, primarily focusing on regional efforts to develop organized energy markets in the West over the past decade. Beginning her career at the Bonneville Power Administration, she led market design development for the Northwest Power Pool MC initiative before spending seven years at the Public Generating Pool as their lead Policy and Market Design Analyst, heavily engaging on CAISO market initiatives. In 2020, Laura returned to BPA to lead their strategy development on organized market development in the West and now serves as TEA’s Director of Western Markets and Strategy since May 2022.
