The Energy Authority (TEA) is pleased to announce Susan Boggs as Vice President of Administration and Chief People Officer.
(JACKSONVILLE, FL - January 31, 2014) The Energy Authority (TEA) is pleased to announce that its board of directors has appointed Susan Boggs as the company's new Vice President of Administration and Chief People Officer. The creation of the Chief People Officer position emphasizes the importance TEA places on the organization's talent and culture.
Joanie Teofilo, President and CEO of TEA, recognizes that TEA's continued success is a direct result of the talented people within the organization. "People are our most valuable asset, and it is appropriate that the structure of our executive team reflect this," said Ms. Teofilo. "Susan's professional career and accomplishments in human resources, her focus on TEA's core values, and her leadership within TEA uniquely qualify her in this new role."
Ms. Boggs will be responsible for human resources and employee relations, communications, events and administrative functions.
Ms. Boggs joined The Energy Authority in 2008 and was named Director of Human Resources and Corporate Support in 2010. Prior to joining TEA, Susan was Director of Human Resources for S&P USA, the North American subsidiary of Soler & Palau Ventilation Group, and Director of Human Resources for Ring Power Corporation. Additionally, she has held a variety of other positions, working in music education, accounting, contract administration, and payroll management.
Ms. Boggs holds a master's degree in Business Administration from the University of North Florida and a bachelor's degree in Music Education from Florida State University. She is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR).
